As SNN’s resident chanteuse Annie Humphrey reaches the big 3-0 (or 25+5 as she likes to refer to it), we thought it would be swell to wish her a very happy birthday with a little tribute to her greatest SNN hits.

DARTFORD TOLLS was the tune that kicked it all off for Annie and SNN. It racked up for than a million views on Facebook and YouTube, and it also went in the charts for Christmas 2016, raising a few hundred for British Heart Foundation.
Speaking of which, Annie also fronted a Battle Of The Coverbands event last Friday that raised more than a grand for the same very worthy cause! Good stuff.
Sh*t It’s Snow was hastily chucked together at the last minute earlier in 2017 when the white stuff was imminent, and it was our most successful song with more than two million views across Facebook and YouTube.
Everyone loves a bit of Frozen, don’t they?
Later Angrier was the perfect tune for a South Woodham Ferrers native, like Annie, and this also had a warm reception from everyone who is sick and tired of all that rail replacement bus shite.
Believe it or not, we didn’t know who to rip into more as South and Central Essex has two main contenders for the rail screw-up crown.
500 Referendums got us accused of all sorts of weird and wonderful things by the SNP-loving FREEEEEEEEDOM-screaming Indymob from North of the border. Who would have thought that they were so touchy about the sacred Salmond and Sturgeon?
Save Southend A&E is also well worth a mention, as some silly buggers somewhere think it is a good idea to downgrade Southend’s accident and emergency unit and send us all to Basildon.
We have nothing against Basildon though. We’re sure that it must be a lovely place in very small doses.
But seriously, a population of more than 300,000 people needs its own 24/7 full A&E – no ifs or buts!
Many happy returns your rocketness 🙂
